Generation Y will inherit the world that the GES is attempting to shape


Unless something is done today, the next generation of leaders – leaders from Generation Y (GY) composed of individuals born between 1980 and 2000 – will be discussing the exact same challenges as the current leaders do, although the challenges will most likely be even more severe. GY thus has a high stake in ensuring the success of the GES. Some would say that GY is also the group that can make this happen, as they have not yet been locked in to the institutions and frameworks that exist today.

To ensure intergenerational dialogue and involving GY, the GES established the 'GES Young Fellows'. The GES YFs is a group of ~20 people from several different nationalities and continents, all between the age of 20 and 35, willing to challenge the status quo, and highly capable of driving solutions and making things happen.
