GES 2008-11
The Global Economic Solutions
The contributions generated by the GES – useful, imaginative steps in a constructive direction, supported through a broad agreement among leading decision makers from diverse walks of life – are what we label "solutions." This label is obviously not meant to imply that we have exhaustive answers, but rather insights concerning concrete actions that should move us up the ladder of global collaboration. The proposed solutions of the GES are summarized annually in the book Global Economic Solutions. |
GES Highlights
The Symposium is divided into themes and each theme covers several symposium sessions. Each session of the GES deals with a problem that is relevant to the policy, business, academic, and civic communities and generates strategic responses to that problem. | |||||||||||||

Josef Joffe; Publisher-Editor, DIE ZEIT | "The 2009 GES was once again enlightening and stimulating for me. The quality of attendees, dialogues and outcomes continues to build each year. The analytical grounding in economics and the focus on solutions distinguishes the GES from the many other gatherings seeking to address global issues to which I receive invitations each year. I definitely plan to attend again in 2010."
