Initiatives of the GEP

Initiatives of the Global Economic Partnership (GEP)

The Global Economic Partnership offers various ways to interact with leaders from business, politics, academia and civil society to initiate problem-solving projects, to be involved into the intergenerational dialogue  with future leaders and to exchange ideas.

The Global Action Program (GAP) promotes concrete projects that implement solution proposals of the GES. Each project puts into action a practical vision of how to tackle a well-defined global problem. As member of the GEP you are able to nominate projects and profit from the experience and the advice of the GES community. Learn more about the Global Action Program (GAP).

The Global Economic Fellows Program (GEFellows) supports the initiatives of young, exeptionally promising individuals in the mission of global problem-solving. As member of the GEP you are able to nominate a young person of high promise from your organization for the Global Economic Fellows Program (GEFellows).

The Business Roundtable of the GES debates major business challenges of the future. The Business Roundtable offers opportunities to articulate possible future topics and to present your company’s major challenges and your global solutions. Highlight particularly promising business responses to global challenges and formulate business practices that promote a combination of global prosperity, global social responsibility, and global security. Find out more about the Business Rountable 2010.

The Leading Decision Makers‘ Forum
In this Forum, business executives and policy makers give talks explaining the challenges they face and their strategic responses, in the context of global problemsolving. Each talk is meant to shed light on opportunities to promote the global public interest. The aim is to show how leading decision makers are addressing key global problems and thereby creating better world for the next generation. The Forum is a source of ideas that can contribute to future GES panels or may lead to concrete projects in the Global Action Program.
